Audio-Technica - Replacement Stylus AT-VMN30xEN

Genuine Audio-Technica AT-VMN30xEN replacement stylus — the same 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical profile as the VMN20xEB, but nude rather than bonded.

Mounting the diamond nude instead of gluing it into a metal shank removes mass from the tip, so the cantilever tracks sudden modulation more faithfully. The profile is identical to the bonded VMN20xEB; what changes is how well it keeps up.

The published life reflects it too, at roughly 800 hours against 300 for the bonded version. Audio-Technica lists it for the AT-VM530xEN and the legacy VM530EN. Made in Japan.
