The recordings here come from the June 20, 1968 studio session recorded by Hans Georg Brunner-Schwer in Germany's Black Forest, five days after Bill Evans' famed 1968 Montreux performance with the same trio. Featuring Evans on piano with Eddie Gomez on bass and Jack DeJohnette on drums, the long-vaulted session has been mastered all-analog (AAA) from the original analog master and cut at 45 RPM.
