Bill Withers - Live at Carnegie Hall - Translucent Magenta Music On Vinyl LP
$47.99
Withers' only live album, on limited gatefold 180-gram translucent magenta coloured vinyl.
Live at Carnegie Hall was recorded on October 6, 1972 and released in April 1973 — the only live record Bill Withers ever made. That he played one of the most prestigious venues in American music that early says a great deal about how influential his first two records, Just As I Am and Still Bill, had already become.
He appears with an ensemble of the best session players of the era: Melvin Dunlap, Ray Jackson, James Gadson, Benorce Blackmon and Bobbye Hall. Alongside the hits sit performances available only on this set, including "World Keeps Going Around" and "I Can't Write Left-Handed."
