2026 vinyl edition of Black Box Recorder's 1998 debut.

Formed in London in 1997 by Sarah Nixey, John Moore and Luke Haines, Black Box Recorder took their name from the Graham Greene novel and paired deadpan easy-listening pop with lyrics about the strangeness of growing up English. Nixey's cool delivery over Haines' arrangements still sounds like nothing else from the era.
