Neon Pill is the sixth studio album from Cage the Elephant and the band's first new music since 2019's Social Cues, which won Best Rock Album at the 2019 GRAMMY Awards. Written over an eventful five-year stretch, the record blends the group's restless garage-rock energy with more reflective, genre-fluid songwriting. The band is brothers Matt Shultz (vocals) and Brad Shultz (rhythm guitar) with Daniel Tichenor (bass), Jared Champion (drums), Nick Bockrath (lead guitar) and Matthan Minster (keys, guitar, vocals).
