Released in 1970, Future Blues was Canned Heat's first album with new guitarist Harvey Mandel and captures the band's classic lineup at its peak. It features the worldwide top-ten hit "Let's Work Together" (a cover of Wilbert Harrison) and the early environmental-protest song "So Sad (The World's in a Tangle)." It stands among the band's essential albums from the era before the death of co-founder Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson.
