Chuck Berry In Memphis is the rock and roll pioneer's 11th studio album, originally released in 1967 as his first for Mercury Records after leaving Chess. Recorded over three days in Memphis in March 1967, it finds Berry blending blues and pop with his trademark rock & roll, backed by saxophonists Andrew Love and James Mitchell of The Memphis Horns. This is the first official American LP reissue.
