Recorded in 1959 and released in 1960, it ranks as arguably Mingus' most joyously swinging outing, performed with a churchy fervor by a nine-piece ensemble. This Analogue Productions edition was mastered from the original analog tape direct to DSD by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio.
