The remastered original album features on the LP, while the three CDs deliver a new stereo mix by Dweezil Zappa, the 1974 quadraphonic mix, and a newly remastered version of the original album, plus two live performances: a 1972 Paris Theatre show from the Machine Head Tour and a previously unreleased April 1971 set from the Montreux Casino — the venue whose fire later inspired "Smoke on the Water." The set includes new liner notes by Rolling Stone's Kory Grow.
