Recorded between early 1969 and the summer of 1971, Elvis Now spans country, gospel, soul, and pop. It includes the Kris Kristofferson-penned "Help Me Make It Through the Night" and The Beatles' "Hey Jude," both lavishly arranged in the Las Vegas aesthetic of '70s Elvis. The album's lone single, "Until It's Time for You to Go," reached #9 on the US Easy Listening chart and #5 on the UK Singles Chart in 1972. Pressed on magenta 180-gram audiophile vinyl.
