This previously unreleased session captures jazz piano great Erroll Garner in a Berlin studio on 2 November 1967, recorded just weeks before the live album that would cement his fame. Backed by Ike Isaacs on bass, Jimmie Smith on drums and Jose Mangual on bongos, Garner runs through timeless standards and his own beloved "Misty" with his signature ease and effervescence. Rescued from the RBB archives by The Lost Recordings and remastered from the original analog tapes, cut at 45 RPM by Kevin Gray.
