Wake Me When It's Over is the second album by Faster Pussycat, released in 1989. On it the sleazy Hollywood band moved away from the glam metal of their debut toward a more blues-influenced sound. It contains the power ballad "House of Pain" - the band's first big hit, with a video directed by future filmmaker Michael Bay. The album peaked at No. 48 on the Billboard 200 and "House of Pain" reached No. 28 on the Hot 100.
