Often hailed as the greatest classical recording of all time, it has been transferred and remastered from the original two-track stereo master tapes, with lacquers cut half-speed at Abbey Road Studios by Miles Showell and pressed on six 180-gram LPs at Optimal Media in Germany. Housed in a gold-foil embellished box with a lavishly illustrated booklet featuring synopses, libretti in English and German, and rare session photographs.
