Magic is the sixth and final studio album by English rock band Gillan, released in September 1982. Possibly the band's most musically adventurous effort, it leans heavily on keyboards for a sleek, polished sound, with lyrics exploring themes of escape and rebirth — fitting, as Ian Gillan disbanded the group shortly after and went on to join Black Sabbath. This expanded edition pairs the original album with a second disc of eight B-sides, outtakes, and a 1988 solo single, all appearing on vinyl for the first time, pressed on 140g red vinyl in a gatefold sleeve.
