Black Aria is the most audacious album ever released by Glenn Danzig — an all-instrumental modern classical work and his first-ever solo album. Originally released in 1992, it notably debuted at the top of Billboard's classical chart. The first half was inspired by John Milton's epic poem Paradise Lost, a retelling of the fall of Lucifer, while the second half delves into Celtic mythology. Danzig wrote every note and performed every instrument.
