A super-rare and inventive set from Japanese bassist Isao Suzuki, much in demand by collectors. Like most of his best 1970s–80s work it defies easy categorization, ranging from close-up, personal bass solos (including piccolo bass) to a wider group vision with creative, fresh rhythms and occasional fusion inflections. The album features guest work from Shigeharu Mukai on trombone and Toshiyuki Honda on soprano sax and flute.
