Lost Themes IV: Noir is the fourth chapter in John Carpenter's acclaimed series of non-film compositions, written and performed with his son Cody Carpenter and godson Daniel Davies. Taking inspiration from the film noir genre, the trio weave moody, synth-and-guitar soundscapes that Carpenter describes as "soundtracks for the movies in your mind." The result runs like a well-oiled machine and proves the trio's chemistry is nowhere near done.
