Floating into the Night is the 1989 debut album by American dream-pop singer Julee Cruise, originally released on Warner Bros. Records. Produced by composer Angelo Badalamenti and film director David Lynch — who wrote the lyrics to Badalamenti's music — it features "Falling," whose instrumental version became the theme to Lynch's series Twin Peaks, along with "Rockin' Back Inside My Heart," "Into the Night" and "The World Spins."
