Blue and Moody (1958) is the one and only solo album from arresting R&B chanteuse Lula Reed. After beating out 50 contestants to join Sonny Thompson's band, Reed cut these sides for King Records, yielding Billboard R&B Top Ten hits "Let's Call It a Day" and "I'll Drown in My Tears." Long out of print and a holy grail for blues and R&B collectors, it has been painstakingly mastered from the original analog session tapes by Sundazed.
