Meiko Kaji - Yadokari + Shura No Hana (1973) - LP
First-Ever Vinyl Reissue of Her 1973 Album — Gatefold LP with OBI + Bonus 7" "Shura No Hana"
Wewantsounds continues its Meiko Kaji reissue program — in partnership with Teichiku Records and Kaji herself — with Yadokari, her third album from 1973, on vinyl for the first time. A rich mix of kayōkyoku (Japanese pop), traditional enka, psychedelic rock and cinematic '70s funk, it includes "Hagure Bushi" and "Kiba no Ballad" (composed by Lupin the III's Yuji Ohno) from the cult TV series Sengoku Rock Hagure Kiba. Reissued with original artwork, newly remastered audio, deluxe gatefold sleeve and OBI, plus a bonus 7" EP featuring "Shura No Hana," famously heard in Kill Bill.
