Interwoven Hammond organ riffs, heavy electric guitar and melodic bass lines give this Toronto band an edge, with odd time signatures that make their sole 1969 LP an aural lobotomy. Evolving out of the late-'60s combo The Lords of London, Nucleus adopted a jazzier, improvisational approach and recorded an album of all-original songs that became a cult favorite. Reissued on white vinyl.
