Recorded in Paris in December 1958, this is Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers' soundtrack to the film Des Femmes Disparaissent. With time too short for a fully original score, tenorist and arranger Benny Golson reworked pieces from the Messengers' book into the film's musical sequences alongside three originals. A facsimile reissue of the original 10-inch Fontana issue, remastered from the original mono master tapes.
