The Eternal Idol is the 13th studio album by English rock band Black Sabbath, originally released in November 1987. It is the first Black Sabbath album to feature vocalist Tony Martin, who would go on to sing across five Sabbath studio albums between 1987 and 1995. Led by the single "The Shining," this 2025 edition has been remastered from the analogue tapes and marks the first time the album has been available on vinyl in decades.
