Abandoned Luncheonette, released in 1973, is the second album by pop-rock duo Daryl Hall and John Oates. Fusing folk, acoustic rock and classic Philly soul under producer Arif Mardin, it became the most commercially successful album of their Atlantic Records period, reaching No. 33 on the Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart and featuring the breakthrough hit "She's Gone." The album was later certified platinum by the RIAA. This hybrid SACD is part of the Atlantic 75 reissue series and plays in all standard CD and SACD players.
