Scofield & Holland's First Duo Album on Vinyl LP

Guitarist John Scofield and bassist Dave Holland, two of contemporary jazz's masters, have crossed paths over the years in projects with Herbie Hancock and Joe Henderson and a spirited co-led band with Joe Lovano and Al Foster. Memories of Home is their first duo album, recorded at NRS Studios in Catskill, New York in August 2024 after extensive touring. The program pairs originals by each player—Scofield's "Icons at the Fair," "Meant to Be," "Mine Are Blues," "Memorette," and "Easy for You," alongside Holland's "Mr. B," "Not for Nothin'," "You I Love," and the title track—drawing on decades of shared musical references.
