Kenny Burrell - K.B. Blues - Tone Poet LP
$38.99
Mono 180g Vinyl LP — Blue Note Tone Poet Series
Recorded in February 1957 at Rudy Van Gelder's Hackensack, New Jersey studio, K.B. Blues was guitarist Kenny Burrell's third session as a leader for Blue Note, backed by a crack team of hard boppers. Side A stretches out on Horace Silver's "Nica's Dream" and Burrell's hard-charging "Out for Blood," while Side B offers several views of the blues, including two takes of Burrell's easy-going "K.B. Blues." Previously issued on vinyl only in Japan, this swinging set gets a new shine as part of the Tone Poet Series.
