Released in 1993, Paul Is Live was recorded during the tour in support of Off the Ground — Paul McCartney's fifth live album, known for its title's double meaning and its rumour-scotching cover art, a playful reworking of the famous Abbey Road sleeve. Alongside solo, Wings and Beatles favourites, the set offers an insight into the band's sound checks, with the final three songs improvised during rehearsals on tour. This Japanese SHM-CD edition uses the 2019 remaster and includes a miniature poster, two inner sleeves and a white booklet of Japanese lyric translations.
