Pinchas Zukerman - Sibelius: Violin Concerto; Beethoven: Romances for Violin - Original Source Series LP
180g Virgin Vinyl, DG's The Original Source Series, Numbered Limited Edition, Deluxe Gatefold
In the early 1970s, Pinchas Zukerman and Daniel Barenboim were among the most exciting young musicians of their generation. Their joint recording of Sibelius's Violin Concerto, Op. 47, and Beethoven's Romances for Violin and Orchestra Nos. 1 and 2 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra captures that artistic energy in exemplary fashion. For this release the works were newly remastered and cut for the first time from the original ½-inch, 4-track tapes by Emil Berliner Studios in 100% analog quality.
