Seiji Ozawa - Dvorak: Symphony No. 9 From the New World - Decca Pure Analogue Series LP
$38.99
Decca Pure Analogue Series — Hand-Numbered, Limited Edition 180g Virgin Vinyl LP
Seiji Ozawa's May 1975 recording of Dvořák's Symphony No. 9, "From the New World," with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra was one of the last Philips made quadraphonically. For this Pure Analogue reissue, Rainer Maillard at Emil Berliner Studios used the original four-track quadraphonic master tape to create a new stereo mix cut directly to the lacquer, preserving a fully analogue signal path from tape to disc.
