Fresh off The Hypnogogue, which SPIN named one of 2023's best albums, the Australian psychedelic dreampop band return with Lacuna. Bassist, vocalist and founder Steve Kilbey describes it as "intense, forlorn, and exultant." Since 1980 The Church have blended cinematic indie rock, shimmering post-punk, icy dreampop and psychedelic post-rock, from early albums Of Skins and Heart, The Blurred Crusade and Heyday to 1988's Starfish and the international hit "Under the Milky Way."
