Yes's fourth album Fragile first reached the American Top 10 in February 1972, going double platinum in the U.S. on the strength of "Roundabout" and "Long Distance Runaround." This Super Deluxe Edition pairs a newly remastered version of the original album on vinyl and CD with two discs of rare and unreleased recordings, plus a Blu-ray featuring Steven Wilson's new stereo, instrumental, Dolby Atmos, and 5.1 mixes. LP lacquers were cut by Bernie Grundman, and the album marks keyboardist Rick Wakeman's debut with the band.
