When guitarist Joe Pass and tenor saxophonist Zoot Sims sat down to record as a duo in 1982, it was clear after about six bars that this was a perfect artistic match. Pass was a supremely natural player who swung from the first note, while Sims, a master of lyrical ballad expression, brings relaxed urgency to the faster pieces — notably "Remember." Pass accompanies beautifully and solos with his customary ingenuity. This Analogue Productions reissue was mastered by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab from the original analog master tape, pressed at Quality Record Pressings, and housed in a Stoughton Printing tip-on single pocket jacket.
