Trixies, the new studio album by Squeeze, could have been their very first record. Written by Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook when they were just teenagers, it is a concept album born of imagination and nostalgia, inspired by a fictional members' club imagined as a glamorous, smoky 1920s-style speakeasy populated by colorful characters. Demoed back then but never released, the record is now fully realized with today's musicianship and production, combining teenage brilliance with seasoned artistry.
