With a title like Cannibal, it's no surprise that this 2007 album presents Static-X at its most bloodthirsty — by Wayne Static's own account, the band's most metal and arguably heaviest record. It marks the return of founding guitarist Koichi Fukuda and his guitar solos, and a shift back toward the intense sound the band premiered on Wisconsin Death Trip. The record went Top 40, and "No Submission" landed on the Saw III soundtrack. Here it gets its first-ever vinyl reissue with the bonus track "Light It Up."
