Van Morrison - Astral Weeks - Rhino Hi-Fi LP

Brick & mortar / indie retail exclusive: Van Morrison's Astral Weeks joins the Rhino High Fidelity series, cut by Kevin Gray from the original analog master tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal Media.

Released in November 1968, Astral Weeks set aside pop convention for loose, jazz-informed acoustic arrangements, with Morrison's incantatory vocals carrying "Cyprus Avenue", "Slim Slow Slider" and the title track. This Rhino Hi-Fi edition comes in a heavyweight glossy tip-on gatefold jacket with an obi strip and an exclusive insert with new liner notes by Cory Frye.
