The Words Don't Fit the Picture is Willie Nelson's fourteenth studio album, originally released in 1972 and among his last for RCA Records, arriving shortly before his breakthrough with Shotgun Willie. Nelson wrote or co-wrote everything here, and the album is most notable for containing his first solo recording of "Good Hearted Woman," the song he composed with his great friend Waylon Jennings.
