The record is loaded with all-star guest performances from Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Vinnie Moore, and Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars of Mötley Crüe. "Feed My Frankenstein" features the guitar duo of Steve Vai and Joe Satriani playing together, and later appeared in the 2014 video game Watch Dogs.
