Recorded in 1957 as Arnett Cobb rebounded from a serious car accident that broke both his legs, Party Time bursts with the tenor titan's indomitable spirit — preaching on "When My Dream Boat Comes Home," grooving down the "Lonesome Road," and roaring through "Flying Home." Pianist Ray Bryant shines in the blues idiom while Ray Barretto's conga adds extra flavor alongside Wendell Marshall (bass) and Arthur Taylor (drums).
