On the evening of November 29th, 1958, on the stage of the Kurhaus in Scheveningen, Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers delivered a historic performance. Pianist Bobby Timmons had just penned the iconic "Moanin'" and saxophonist Benny Golson the famous "Along Came Betty," which the Messengers mixed with compositions by Thelonious Monk, Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. Featuring Lee Morgan, Benny Golson, Bobby Timmons and Jymie Merritt, this edition was forgotten until today and is remastered from the original analogue tapes by Fondamenta.
