This edition of the Jazz Messengers - which performed together from 1961 through 1964 - features jazz greats Wayne Shorter, Freddie Hubbard, Curtis Fuller, Cedar Walton and Jymie Merritt. The title is newly remastered for vinyl as part of the Blue Note 75th Anniversary reissue campaign spearheaded by label president Don Was.
