Calling Cadence - Calling Cadence - LP
HQ 180g Vinyl LP — All-Analog Recording, Mixing & Mastering — Mastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio — Pressed at RTI
Calling Cadence is a rare band in our increasingly digital world: they recorded their debut album entirely all-analog, without a single computer. Singer/guitarist/songwriter Oscar Bugarin and vocalist Rae Cole are backed by a wrecking crew of West Coast studio pros, swirling late-'70s rock, soul and modern pop into an intoxicating blend of California bliss—led by the powerhouse single "Throw My Body." Recorded to 2" tape through a Studer A827, mixed analog on a 1972 API console, and mastered by Kevin Gray, who cut the lacquer straight from the master tape. A rocking, soulful trip with a retro vibe perfect for lovers of '70s music and modern vinyl.
