Co-produced by the band — Toni Halliday and multi-instrumentalist Dean Garcia — with Flood, it is a pioneering blend of electronic rhythms and distorted, reverb-drenched guitar layers that anticipated the shoegaze and trip-hop sounds to come. A near top-ten UK success that has since earned its place on lists of the best gothic and shoegaze records of all time.
