King Crimson's 1974 classic Red arrives in a 50th-anniversary double-LP edition that takes the music to new levels of clarity and power. LP1 presents new 2024 stereo mixes by Steven Wilson, who first remixed the album back in 2009. LP2 is a complete album's worth of "Elemental Mixes" by longtime Crimson producer and band manager David Singleton, drawn from the original multitracks to reveal a very different audio picture — including a glimpse of Bill Bruford's percussion overdubs in place of "Providence" and an extended intro to "Starless."
