From the wreckage of Free came Bad Company, the English hard-rock supergroup fronted by singer Paul Rodgers, with drummer Simon Kirke, Mott the Hoople guitarist Mick Ralphs, and King Crimson bassist Boz Burrell. Their eponymous 1974 debut, recorded at Headley Grange in Ronnie Lane's Mobile Studio, reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified five-times platinum in the U.S., featuring "Can't Get Enough," "Movin' On," and "Ready for Love."
