Hybrid Stereo SACD — plays in all CD and SACD players. Analogue Productions Atlantic 75 Series, mastered directly to DSD from the original master tape by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering.

CSN, released in 1977, was the fifth album credited to Crosby, Stills & Nash and the trio's first studio record together in seven years. It reached No. 2 on Billboard's Top Pop Albums chart, held out of the top spot only by Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, and it returned the group to the harmony-driven sound that made their name in the first place.

Graham Nash's "Just a Song Before I Go" became the album's hit single, while Stephen Stills' "Fair Game" and "Dark Star" and David Crosby's "Shadow Captain" and "In My Dreams" round out a record that has held up remarkably well — both as a memento of its moment and as a thoroughly enjoyable piece of music. It was the trio's last fully realized album, and the last on which the three principals handled all the vocal parts themselves without additional voices sweetening the blend.

This edition is part of "75 for 75," the Analogue Productions Atlantic 75 Series celebrating the 75th anniversary of Atlantic Records. The hybrid disc carries a DSD stereo SACD layer plus a Red Book stereo CD layer, so it plays in any conventional CD player as well.
