Originally released in 2000, Winds of Creation is where it all began for Polish death metal masters Decapitated, and it remains their most incendiary and focused record. Drawing influence from Morbid Angel, Slayer (hear that raging cover of "Mandatory Suicide") and countrymen Vader, the album straddles the line between pure energy and technical precision, all the more impressive given the band were barely out of school when they recorded it.
