Foreigner stormed out of the gate with their 1977 self-titled debut, delivering some of the biggest FM rock hits of the year in "Feels Like the First Time" and "Cold as Ice." Built on the muscular riffing of guitarist Mick Jones and the soaring vocals of Lou Gramm, the album set the template for the band's hard-but-polished arena rock sound. This Analogue Productions reissue, part of the Atlantic 75th Anniversary Series, was mastered directly from the original master tape by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound and cut at 45 RPM.
