Parliament - Mothership Connection - 45 rpm MFSL LP
Mobile Fidelity 180g 45RPM 2LP, Numbered Limited Edition
Parliament's 1975 funk milestone Mothership Connection is a cosmic trip of galactic grooves, joyous vibes, and streetwise humor — nearly 39 minutes of some of the sweatiest, most enthusiastic funk ever devised, overseen by George Clinton and featuring the horn tandem of Maceo Parker and Fred Wesley. Sourced from the original analog master tapes and making its 45RPM debut, Mobile Fidelity's numbered-edition 180g 2LP presents the album with tauter bass, enhanced definition, and more realistic presence than prior pressings. It spawned the classics "Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker)," "P. Funk (Wants to Get Funked Up)," and the title track.
