Sahib Shihab and The Danish Radio Jazz Group, recorded in August 1965 in Copenhagen, Denmark and originally issued on the Danish Oktav label (OKLP 111). Shihab's second album as a leader and his rarest, it is a true masterpiece built on his modernist compositions and arrangements and his intense, soulful playing. The session features an all-star Danish big band including Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen on bass, Alex Riel on drums, Allan Botschinsky and Palle Mikkelborg on trumpet, and Louis Hjulmand on vibraphone.
