Santana - Lotus - MFSL LP
Numbered Limited Edition 180g 3LP from Mobile Fidelity
Originally issued in 1974, Lotus is the definitive onstage document of Santana's early career and one of the most spectacular live albums ever released, drawn from two July 1973 shows at Osaka's Kosei Nenkin Kaikan concert hall. Mobile Fidelity's reissue is sourced from the original master tapes and pressed at Fidelity Record Pressing, strictly limited to 5,000 numbered copies and housed in deluxe trifold packaging faithful to the original. The set captures the eight-piece lineup's fusion of Latin- and Afro-Cuban-influenced jazz, rock, psychedelia, R&B and blues with reference-quality balance, dynamics and presence.
